Originally from Spirit, Wisconsin, just outside of Tomahawk, Brooklyn Nelson grew up immersed in creativity and the beauty world—spending much of her childhood in her mom’s salon. Her love for hairstyling started as early as age five and evolved into a full-fledged passion for helping people achieve a true sense of self through their hair.

Brooklyn graduated from PHD Academy Eau Claire in September 2024, where she broke two school records for the number of guests serviced and color applications. During that time, she also began practicing extensions and discovered her goal of becoming both an extension artist and educator. Known for her skill in color formulation, blonding, and styling, Brooklyn brings both artistry and precision to every guest experience.

Outside of the salon, Brooklyn enjoys spending time with her fiancé, Jake, and their pets—hound dog Larry and two cats, Phoebe and Daisy. She’s a proud fourth-generation member of a farming family and has a lifelong passion for fashion design. Moving hours away from her hometown to pursue her dream of becoming a hairstylist stands as one of her proudest achievements. For Brooklyn, hairstyling is more than a career—it’s a way to blend art, connection, and authenticity every single day.
